He walked into the house that day. Neither of them could look at each other the same way. They each saw the pain they had caused throughout the days. He stood there and said nothing. And she stood in just the same way. She handed him a letter. Said I don’t think things are going to get better. He saw it in her eyes. But, he still said nothing. He took that note and walked away. Drove down the road and realized what to say. He cried for a while realized this is what it was going to be. He sat for a while lost and confused, that boy trying to find his own way. He cried for a while. He felt all that pain. Looked at all the pictures, and he read back through all those notes. Each time he did he fell apart inside. Until one day he felt it less than the last. That’s when he slowly picked himself up. He read that note that she wrote him well that boy became a man that day he ripped it up and threw it away. Now that man I know he has found a new way. He can smile even after she walked away. Now that man I know he sits back and smiles and realizes that things seem to work out the right way. And realizes how that boy became a great man today. That man he realizes that things always work out the right way. He loves like never before. That man he closed and opened a new door. He looks inside it with the wonder that boy used to have in his eyes. That boy that is a man now looks forward in amazement today. He never quite expected all the things that he would find. That man he smiles now with a clear mind.
